Post Nineteen.

Band meeting at noon. Jeeze, I haven't even showered. I don't even know what I'm supposed to bring. Uggh.

You're lost and I'm waiting
And I'll find you if it's the last thing I do
Dr. Livingstone, I presume
We've got some catching up to do
And I've got all the time in the world

These faces are unfamiliar
Covered in masks and makeup
These clothes are quite out there
We're dancing in a sea of empty cups

She's laughing ever so fakely
At lame jokes you've run through your mind
(Time after time)
Anyone would know,
She wants you upstairs right now
The door closes
No one hears a sound
And you're under her spell

You're lost and I'm waiting
And I'll find you if it's the last thing I do
Dr. Livingstone, I presume
We've got some catching up to do
And I've got all the time in the world

Weren't you always told to look before you leap?
Guess the liquor's taken over
Despite the promises you've made

Gladly you accept every offer
Greed within your eyes
Words serpentine until they lose
Whatever meaning meant to hold
Lies woven into lies

Until you've gone so deep
You're trapped and there's no way out
Just give up now
For there's nothing to cure this wound

You're lost and I'm waiting
And I'll find you if it's the last thing I do
Dr. Livingstone
Dr. Livingstone
Dr. Livingstone
Dr. Livingstone, I presume
We've got some catching up to do
And I've got all the time in the world
